Background and Education
Tommaso was born in 1973 in Bologna, Italy. From a young age, he found joy in drawing, building, and envisioning spatial designs. In 2002, Tommaso graduated with acclaim from the School of Architecture at the University of Ferrara. His strong technical skills and design thinking were shaped by this education.
After university, Tommaso gained valuable experience at architecture firms in Bologna. He worked on projects ranging from residential buildings to historic restoration. This allowed Tommaso to hone his skills in architectural design, construction techniques, and project execution.
Teaching and Research
From 2005 to 2009, Tommaso taught as a professor of architecture at the University of Florence. He guided students through design methodologies and theoretical concepts. This teaching experience enriched his perspectives on form and function in architecture.
Founding D+D Group
In 2009, Tommaso partnered with architect Anna Faccioli to launch D+D Group. As a founding partner, Tommaso leads the firm’s retail and residential architecture projects. He oversees design concepts, technical development, and construction management.
